Human Rights Day 2018 in Pakistan

Every year, we celebrate Human Rights Day to honour our commitment to uplift humanity in all spheres of life. But, as we inch towards our goal, we see how difficult it is to challenge the preconceived notions and stereotypes that have clouded our vision on the rights and abilities of a certain segment of society. This time, join us in challenging the stereotypes we have of women who are differently-abled. The word ‘disabled’ generally implies “a physical or mental handicap, especially one that prevents a person from living a full, normal life or can prevent gainful employment”.
